Advanced Platinum Catalytic Combustion System
Catalytic heat is cool! The advanced platinum catalytic combustion system converts propane to heat energy at 850 degrees F. This temperature is below the ignition point of most flammable materials.
Catalytic heat produces fewer emissions. The catalytic process produces fewer gases such as nitrous oxide or carbon monoxide than conventional flame or radiant combustion at normal oxygen levels. But please remember that ALL combustion consumes oxygen. So while these heaters may be used indoors some ventilation must
be provided to minimize oxygen depletion and also to prevent build-up of potentially dangerous gases.
Catalytic heat is comfortable. It provides a soft, consistent radiant heat and is whisper quiet.
Catalytic heat is efficient. The catalytic process converts 100% of the propane to heat energy.
What is Catalytic Heat?
In the Catalytic process, propane is brought into contact with oxygen in the air in the presence of a catalyst. The resulting chemical reaction generates heat.
A built-in pressure regulator maintains constant heat output regardless of altitude or air temperature. This reliable source of warmth goes wherever you go - camping, fishing, hunting, working in the garage or workshop, or even in your living room watching TV.
Powered by readily available disposable propane cylinders, the catalytic golf cart heater is also perfect for those standby heat emergencies in the home.
